Eric Carle and his wife, Barbara, established The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art in Amherst, Massachusetts in 2002, a sprawling 40,000-square-foot facility dedicated to the appreciation of picture books and their illustrative art worldwide.
Eric Carle's legacy lives on even after his passing in May 2021 at the age of 91, continuing to inspire countless artists and illustrators today.
