About the Author
Angela Dominguez, a Texas native with Mexican roots, now resides on the East Coast with her boyfriend, Kyle, and their petite dog, Petunia. An accomplished author and illustrator, she has received two Pura Belpré Illustration Honors and her debut middle-grade novel, 'Stella Díaz Has Something To Say', has garnered critical acclaim. Her artistic talents shine in her latest work as she illustrated Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor's empowering picture book, 'Just Help! How to Build a Better World'. From her childhood love of books and art to her accomplished career today, Angela continues to inspire young readers with her creative storytelling and vivid illustrations.
